Valentine's Day Shadow Book DIY Cricut Project
Valentine’s Day is a time to show the people you love how much they mean to you. One of the most creative ways to do that is to make a special shadow book with a Cricut machine. This project provides a unique way to display your love and appreciation and are a great way to make a lasting memory.
This is an easy project that should take no more than 30 minutes and will only require a few simple supplies.

Select the cardstock that you’d like to use for your project. You can choose from traditional red and pink, or opt for something more unique.
Once you have all your supplies, it’s time to get started. Begin by connecting your Cricut machine to your computer or iPad and upload the designs from the zip file (the zip consists of two designs in multiple file formats). You will need to choose the file type that works for you (PNG, SVG, or other file) and set up one file to cut and the other one to draw with a pen. Follow the instructions in the Cricut Design Space to cut out the design onto your chosen paper or cardstock.
Use weeding tools to get the cut outs off the mat. Now, it’s time to assemble your shadow book. Figure out where the cover is and assemble it accordingly, make sure to watch out for how the text is placed so that it isn't mirrored. After you figured out the order of the pages, carefully fold all the rectangles in half and use a staple to put them into a book.
TIPS:
You can personalize this book by writing poems on the empty sheets.
You can tie the book with a ribbon or twine to give it a more finished look.
